Good Space
About
Good Space is a leading workplace and life skills program that guides individuals in building and strengthening their resilience when faced with abusive and aggressive customer situations.
It directs individuals to create a plan tailored to their specific needs, and as a team, how they can support one another to recharge more effectively.
Available online, in-person, or in a hybrid format, it is tailored to your operating environment. It offers response and recovery tools for both staff and leadership teams.
What we offer
We can customise our program to meet your needs and budget by working alongside you, or you can take it straight off the shelf. Any combination of our Good Space and Good Drills programs is doable. Let’s discuss the options.

IN-PERSON — ONSITE
In-person onsite training is the best option when you can bring your team together in one place. This form of training generates the highest engagement and receives the most positive feedback. Our in-person certified training days consist of theory, active discussions, and scenario-based training. Staff leave with knowledge of the good space frameworks they can apply as soon as they step out the door.
- Highly engaging and experienced facilitators coming to you to train your teams.
- Get exposed to the good space frameworks and apply it in your environment.
- Good Space Guide book, certificates presented and training records provided back to the client.
-
IN-PERSON — ONLINE
Engaging with our real and very human trainers through an interactive online platform. If we can’t be there in person, then coming together online is the next best thing. It’s cost-effective and ideal for geographically dispersed teams.
We understand the limitations of online training, so we divide the training day into smaller chunks that are easier for your teams to digest while covering the same training objectives. You will go through the same story and training frameworks – it’s now up to you to put it into action.
- Cost effective.
- Great for geographically dispersed teams.
- Two 45 minute sessions with individual 100 page Good Space Guide book provided.
-
ONLINE COURSES
We have our Good Space training day, showcasing all frameworks condensed into an easy-to-follow online course that effectively incorporates animation and video. It’s perfect as a refresher course or a brief course for new starters.
Customisable, we recommend ‘bookending’ the course with key messages from your people to give it a sense of your organisation.
You can deliver it on your LMS or ours—easy! For a low cost, enhance your Good Space safety and security culture with this training platform. Gain access to our bolt-on modules at no additional cost – Good Drills | Home visits | Driving Awareness | Stay safe during a Robbery.
- Low-cost annual subscription model – very affordable.
- Customisable – in fact we recommend it.

Good Space Q&A
-
A. Yes, absolutely – we designed them with our clients in mind. There is significant synergy between good drills (tactical response) and good space (personal resilience); they serve as powerful tools for managing and coping with confrontational situations.
-
A. Yes, we understand that organisations have unique needs and budgets. Our training has been delivered to both a small number of library staff and corporations with over 100 offices nationwide. Delivery options include online, in-person, or hybrid formats. In our initial meeting, we can explore which options suit you best, supported by case studies that align with your needs and industry.
-
A. It’s a combination of factors, really – for our face-to-face sessions, it's our relaxed and engaging delivery style mixed with practical scenarios and gritty, relatable stories. For our online sessions, it's our easy-to-watch video and animated delivery. And maybe it has to do with the fact that we are easy to deal with and that we tackle a confronting subject in a relaxed and even fun training environment.
-
A. Awesome, you already know how important this stuff is. Good Space complements what you already have in place, focusing on building resilience in response to abusive and aggressive situations.
-
A. In-person training is best for engagement and practical scenarios, offering superior feedback. Online training benefits geographically dispersed teams, minimises operational impact, and is cost-effective. Starting with in-person training, followed by online content, reinforces learning and enhances culture. Both formats introduce the same frameworks and methodologies for managing abusive customers and improving situational awareness. Let's discuss the best options for you.
-
A. It's somewhat counterintuitive to say as a training company, but one-off training doesn’t stick. Dealing with abuse and aggression can be confronting for those experiencing it. With that in mind, the aim is to uplift your safety, security, and wellbeing culture, and you achieve that through the good drills, simple frameworks and little and often training that applies those frameworks. When your staff are using phrases like “good drills, it's just how we roll” – then you are on the right pathway.
-
A. Of course! It contains everything you need to design your charge, understand what is happening to you during a response, and what you need to focus on to recover from a challenging situation. Our training supports this to encourage individuals to take action for themselves and make it stick.
-
A. Of course! Assuming we can slot in one of our experienced trainers, we are good to go. It will begin with a pre-delivery conversation so we can understand you and the problem statement, align on the date, and we will be there. After the training, we will schedule a debrief to discuss how we can provide support going forward.
